Is it possible to estimate this?

Even from like 2000 B.C. because the amount of people before that would be minute.

It should be a lot because close to 5 million people die a day today.

Does anyone have a clue?

  1. Let's see, world population

    1927: 2 billion

    1804: 1 billion

    1600: 500 million

    950: 250 million

Let's assume 25 years is a generation and the curve is flat between the intervals.

    950-1600: 6.5 billion

    1600-1800: 4 billion

    1800-1927: 5 billion

    Total: 15.5 billion.

This is probably an underestimate and does not count people born before 950 AD (i.e. most of the time span of humanity's existence), but it might serve to give a lower limit.

  2. Going back 200,000 years, the best demographers estimate that AT LEAST 120 billion humans have been born!

  3. How many grains of sand on all the beaches in all the world?
