How many people have been killed in Canada in 2007 by people Driving Under Influence of Alcohol (Drunk Driving)?

If you can't find that out, then how about the number of people killed in 2007 by D.U.I in Ontario?

I should clarify they say roughly 1500 per year haven't found specific 2007 numbers yet

here is a MADD report that gives numbers for 2004, I am thinking driving in Canada is a lot safer than in the US

    http://madd.ca/english/research/magnitud...

in the US the death's caused by alcohol related crashes was 16,653, in the year 2000 of course to put that in perspective the deaths caused by the flu are over 56,000 per year in the US

  3. Way too many.  Drunks just don't learn.  The justice system doesn't care.  Our politicians are more concerned about people who smoke.
