  1. McCain Just lost my vote

I don't think her appointment is a wise decision reguardless of which party pick's her. She has very little experience. It's not like McCain who has 26 years in the senate Or Obama who been in the Illinois senate 1997-2004 as well as 4 years in the US senate, Either McCain or Obama could move into the White House immediately and feel at home without even noticing the transition.

I researched Sarah Palin and liked what I read of her. I gave her lots of ticks in the tick boxes. She's smart, has high values, hard working, well respected... ...etc ...etc. I think she's capable of anything.

If McCain wanted her as a VP , they should of started preparing her years ago.

Placing her as VP is like a fish out of water, McCain is 72yrs old (and could drop dead any minute) Then Sarah Palin becomes Commander & Chief of the worlds most powerful nation and expected to know how to run the country in a heart beat!!

How do you feel, having a VP or potential President that requires "on the job training"?

To me this shows McCains true character...

"s***w the consequences, win at all costs"

  2. Not me. Palin is a great VP pick. She has great values, has some good experience and will make a great vice president. Mack P. is wrong because Sarah Palin actually has more experience and qualifications than Obama. She is a great person. She went from city council woman to mayor to governor. She also just gave birth to her fifth child, a beautiful baby boy with down syndrome. She is very pro-life. She is a wonderful pick.

I can't vote yet though. I wish I could though. I just turned 14. I can in 4 more years, and on the plus side, the year I turn 18, it will be an election year.

  3. Lots of Democrats will vote for McCain now. And as a Republican, I am finally energized in voting this election.

  4. Lots of people are wrestling between denial,  disbelief, and embarrassment.

Now there is a video out - in the Video while she was speaking, he was looking at her bottom:

    OMG!

His lip was quivering, he start turning his wedding ring as if he want to take it off and run. He was looking, and you could almost see the panting almost gasping.

Finally he then settled down with a satisfying smirk.

    What the>>>> ???

    O M G!

This is a Must See Video, you would not believe your own eyes.

  5. none. well, not me and 10 zillion others i suppose.

    OBAMA/BIDEN '08.

p.s. if you're looking for an out to NOT vote for Obama, Palin or anyone will do--so go for it.  If you listen to Obama/Biden's policies and plans for the nation and like it--don't be afraid--JUMP ON BOARD--lving with hate is not good.

  6. LMAO  Julie H   no there are not going to be a lot of Dems voting for McCain now.....Palin is the total opposite of what the Dems stand for.  Palin is very anti choice, believes religion should be taught in schools, and is totally against g*y marriage.  ummm no i don't see any dems getting on the band wagon for McCain because of his VP pick.  I actually see most Dems cracking up laughing at his pick because McCain must think we got the brains of a tampon if he really thinks he can woo us woman to vote for him because of his VP pick.

  7. I doubt there will be many people swung to McCain except the ones that were on the fence, anyway. Gov. Palin will attract many people that had not made up their minds, I read an article this morning, she is attracting many of the white working class males Obama has been unable to swing over...in this article they were saying without these voters Obama probably won't win this election. Even Joe Biden has said in the last few days if Obama doesn't take Pennsylvania he won't win this election, Obama's own camp has said they don't understand because they have spent millions in Pennsylvania and he hasn't came up one point in Pa.

  8. If people can change their vote after 2 days of knowing Palin, then they are being irresponsible. Even Palin's mother said she doesn't know why her daughter was picked, Palin said she still doesn't know what a VP does, and she is being investigated for abuse of power. Wouldn't it be more sensible to wait a bit and she who she really is before making any decisions that could affect this country for the next 4 years.

  9. I was for McCain before (more against Obama), but now I'm excited.

Mack, you're quite the whack. Palin has accomplished more in 2 years than Obama has in his lifetime. Get yourself some clues.

  10. I did now I am thinking of voting for him.

  11. According to Rassmussen poll today

There have been significant changes in perception of John McCain in the two days of polling since he named Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate. Since then, 49% of Republicans voice a Very Favorable opinion of McCain. That’s up six percentage points from 43% just before the announcement. Also, 64% of unaffiliated voters now give positive reviews to McCain, up ten points since naming his running mate.

There has been little change in perceptions of Obama since his Thursday night speech and the Palin announcement (see trends and other recent demographic observations).

Seems like quite a few may

  12. Not me. I've been leaning toward McCain since the very beginning. I was hoping Obama would prove he is something more than a standard inflatable politician, but he actually proved that he is one. So now my course is set.

  13. Nope sorry.. I am even more for Obama now that McCain showed his ignorance again.

  14. Palin is an Anti-Choice / Anti-g*y bigot who has not one clue about how to run a country. Does no one else see the fact that McCain picked a VP with even less political experience (c'mon, shes from ALASKA! WHO HAS HEARD OF ONE CONFLICT IN ALASKA??)  than Obama. One of McCain's main argument is that Obama lacks experience.

I guess McCain is just really betting on his heath, 'cause he has some serious balls if he thinks she can run the entire United States.

  15. I sure did.

  16. When I first heard of this then he was going to loose my vote. But after I heard her speak and saw her history as a reformer, I said this is what the republicans really need. She does not have foreign policy experience but I am sure McCain will put in a very good Sec of State to take care of that. The key is surround yourself with the right people. I know he is 72yrs old but he is healthy for his age and has longevity in his family his own mother is 96yrs old.
