are currently receiving some form of professional counseling? Just curious because I have started seeing a counselor myself.

I am!  The worst mistake a person with a mental disorder can make is not searching til they find something healthy that helps.

I received about three months counselling and am still on medication.

I'm suppose to be seeing a counselor but she never got back with me.  I've seen about 3 or 4 different counselors in the past year.  I thought the lady that I was seeing was a great lady but when she never got back with me...that kinda turned me around.
