How many people in US dine-out??

I'm doing a college presentation and I am looking for recent (2007 would be nice) statistics on how often/how many people dine out at restaurants in the US. I googled and everything and I can't seem to find anything that I don't have to pay for to see.

take a poll .  Have a questionnaire on a piece of paper for students to filll out .  How many times a week, etc.  I eat out once every other week.  Some weeks I might eat out twice.  So, for me, I eat out about 4-6 times a month.
