How many people in here consider 'Ahmadis' to be Muslims?

They have been officially declared 'Kafir' by many countries including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia etc. They are Banned from entering Mecca.All the scholars in Islam ( both shia and sunni) have declared them Kafir. All the people who have the minimum knowledge of Islam will consider them to be Kafirs.

I was shocked to get 5 thumbs down for expressing this truth in one of my answers.

I get the impression that the majority of “Moslems” on this Yahoo thing are U.S. born and bred. It’s easy for you sitting behind your PC with a coke and bag of Doritos talking c**p while the “Moslem” world is burning all around you. You sit in beautiful homes and cities with basic amities that are luxuries for like 2/3rds of planet earth – and yet, amazingly, you seem bored and want to learn about Islam (when it’s basically right in front of your eyes in how U.S. and European society works for its people) and labeling other people “kafirs”, “pagans” or whatever. Go to Muslim countries and see what’s happening there. Muslims are burning themselves alive or shooting themselves and their children because they have nothing to eat, no education and no future. “Muslim” extremists are beheading and executing people in the Army and police and sending suicide bombers to kill innocent men, women and children in major cities. “Moslem” leaders are fleecing the public and poor on daily basis. It was rumored that one of Pakistan’s ex-leaders walked out with a cool $800 million just from 2-3 years in office (he wasn’t pleased – they say he was trying to go for about $10-15 billion!!!). I personally know children of ex-Ministers and govt. officials who own dozens of homes and business franchises across the U.S. because they ran off with millions. Prophet Mohammad said that cleanness is half of faith. Go and see the pitifully dirty “Moslem” cities in most “Moslem” countries. You see filth and garbage all over. This is Islam??? You are Moslems???? PROVE TO ME THAT YOU ARE THE PEOPLE OF MOHAMMAD. Always remember, if you want to talk the talk (in respect of other people’s beliefs) then you have to walk the walk. Prove me your credentials first before talking about others beliefs.

Let’s assume that even after committing the horrible atrocities against the Khalifas and grandchildren of HP mentioned above, that you so-called “Moslems” repented and sought forgiveness from God and promised to mend your ways for the better (and the Koran reads that when you do that, Allah’s response is to cleanse, bless, guide and then reward that person or people a million times over). It is said that much of Japan’s greatness today was achieved because of Japanese self-realization that they committed great wrongs in the past (as well as being a victim of a great wrong in terms of Hiroshima and Nagasaki). They strived to change their wrongs and self-pity into good and now you see the results. But what about you “Moslems”? In 1400 years you have progressed from having lost the mercy and blessings of the greatest Prophet mankind ever saw (killing his grandchildren was your thanks to him…) - as well as the prayers and blessings of the righteous Khalifs - to an “Ummah” that has gone ever-deeper in the realms of sin and evil. More than half of Transparency International’s list of most corrupt countries are “Moslem” (including the much coveted #1 spot by our our buddy, Bangladesh…); you make up 1/6 of the world’s population - but account for like 50% of it’s illiteracy and underdevelopment; you don’t even make a peep while drinking your tea or coffee when you hear that a 12-year old girl is raped and killed – yet go into a frenzy when you hear some stupid obscure cartoonist makes a few drawings of the Prophet (who during his lifetime was blasphemed in his face much more severely, but always forgave his tormentors and even prayed for one or two of them… on the other hand over 100 Moslems were killed by their own “brothers” during clashes over the cartoons…); you enjoy blowing up people as suicide bombers (most of the dead being other Muslims); can scarcely even understand the Koran (because like only 10-15% of the Moslem word understands Arabic), etc. etc. etc., then God forgive me, but even a child after reading the beauty and simplicity of the Prophet’s life and beauty and simplicity of the Koran will say that you have NOTHING TO DO WITH EITHER. Had you even listen to an iota of Prophet Mohammad or what the Koran says you would have reached the planet Neptune by now. You are nothing, a completely failed race. This is not me saying this. Go to any citizen of a Muslim country and ask what they think and I bet you the moon 90% will say that “Moslems” are the worst creatures in the earth. Don’t you read Muslim newspapers and read for yourself the realization of h**l on earth that is “Moslem” countries today? I am still waiting for your comments on my questions, Maryam and May ul Din (Maria Evergreen, I was very impressed with your knowledge of Ahmadiyath the True Islam too – these questionjs go to you too…). I will reiterate:

1. You so-called “Moslems” claim that God cursed some of the Jews because they tried to kill their Prophets and spiritual leaders. What about YOU who actually succeeded in murdering two of our beloved Khalifas (Hazrat Usman and Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with them) and Prophet Mohammad's grandchildren? THIS IS AN INDISPUTABLE FACT. What reward do you think God gave you for this? Once again, according to you (may God forgive me, in no way am I commenting on the Jewish people or any other people for that matter because I have equal regard for all humble, pious and righteous PEOPLE of the world whatever faith they are...), some of the Jews only TRIED to kill some of their prophets and illustrious leaders of the faith. But what about the “Moslems” who actually succeeded in killing theirs?

2. The Holy Quran reads in three places that Allah says he can easily remove a people whom He is displeased with for their failure in representing Islam in the world and replace them with another people who would represent Islam truthfully. Based upon what you did to the illustrious Servants of Islam mentioned above, do you or do you not deserve to be replaced as the TRUE followers of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh)?

3. There were two opposing sides on the days Usman, Ali, and the grandchildren of the Prophet (pbuh) died: Those who supported them, and those who were against them. Whose side were you on? Whatever answer you give, PROVE IT. We can prove that we were on the sides of Usman and Ali. Why? because we believe in the Khalifa of TODAY.

4. Of course everyone in the world knows that the religion of ISLAM is PERFECT, and that the various Prophets and their companions and early followers who practiced Islam (from Adam (AS) to Prophet Mohammad (pbuh)) were perfect followers of Islam. Even a baby knows this. But what about you??? (especially your so-called "Ummah" today). Prove to me that you and your "Ummah" are perfect in your means and ways in understanding Islam and DO NOT REQUIRE EVEN AN IOTA OF GUIDENCE, especially in view of your position today.

5. After taking out the blessed SERVANTS OF ALLAH mentioned above, prove to me that you will suddenly believe in Jesus if/when he comes down from heaven. What!!! you took out Usman and Ali, but will accept Jesus??? Explain.

Do you know the difference between those verses of the Qur'an which abrogate and those which are abrogated? Do you have a command of the intentions of Allah in the parables of the Qur'an? If the answer is no, then you have perished and caused others to perish.

A judge needs to know the various meanings of the Qur'an, the truth of the Prophetic way, the inward indications, courtesies, consensus and disagreements, and to be familiar with the bases of what they agree upon and disagree about. Well, to start with, "Allah is the only judge" is NOT bullshit and not "blah blah blah".

If Ahmadis say that Mirza was a prophet, I don't consider them Muslims.

If they say Mirza was the Mehdi and the Messiah, and that prophet Jesus (pbuh) died and won't come back, they are contradicting the Qur'an:

004.159 وَإِنْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ إِلا لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ بِهِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا

004.159 And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them;-

Al-Qur'an, 004.159 (An-Nisa [Women])

Now, I don't want any twisting interpretation of yours. The verse clearly states that ALL the People of the Book will believe in Jesus before his death. Do the Jews believe in Jesus (pbuh)? NOT YET.

P.S. If you are willing to reply, don't quote from your Mirza.

With all do respect 1qfactor, that's the very small possibility which is supported less. The major possibility which is supported by many of the great personalities of that time including Ibn 'Abbas and many others, as you can see in the exegesis of Ibn Kathir and the others is that it refers to prophet Jesus (pbuh). Now, if you wanna take that meaning according to your preference, that is called prejudice and basing a belief on ambiguity.

Oh, and by the way, the fact I didn't reply the last time was cause none of the things you posted provided any proof of the definite death of Jesus (pbuh) and that I would have to keep repeating "that wasn't sufficient" and you would be saying I was rejecting proof. Sorry, but you have to pick what you like to prove your beliefs.

Brother I see you're proposing a different ayat this time than you did last time.  In any case, you'll find that the translation your Qur'an is using is not a very good one.  

Here is a NON AHMADI translation by a well known Pakistani named Ahmed Ali.  In fact, Ahmed Ali was a staunch Anti Ahmadi person while he was alive.

158. But God raised him up (in position) and closer to Himself; and God is all-mighty and all-wise.

159. There is not one among the people of the Book who will not believe in it before his death; and he will be a witness over them on the Day of Resurrection.

Your translation does a gross injustice my brother.  The pronoun "his" in the expression "before his death" stands for the noun "none," meaning none of the People of the Book will believe in it before their OWN death.  This meaning is clearly found in the arabic.  It is supported by the second reading of Mautihi which is Mautihim (their death).  The Jews believed they killed Jesus on the cross because they rejected him.  The Christians believe Jesus died because they made up the idea of atonement.

So in short 4:159 is not in reference to believing in Jesus as a Prophet, but to beleiving in the event that occured, i.e. the crucifixion.  Both Christians and Jews (Ahle Kitab) will not cease to believe that Jesus died on the cross before their OWN death, but on the day of Ressurrection Jesus (as) will testify against them that he did NOT die on the cross, but rather died a natural death.

Now, if you would like, I can go and cite much more detailed verses and authentic hadeeth that show clearly that Isa (as) did indeed die based on the Holy Qur'an.

Please read through, you'll find that your quote does not seem to exist.  Now I find this interesting because you said that you read the quote Yourself.  But if it does not exist, what did you read brother?  Perhaps I'm missing it?  If I am, Please do enlighten us.

As far as the quotes you've cited in this posting, again, my brother, please read for context instead of picking and choosing words.

Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II (rz) is saying something that YOU already beleive.  That is, when a Prophet comes, those who reject the prophet are kafirs, i.e. disbelievers in that Prophet.  Those who rejected Muhammad (sa) were Kafirs of Islam.  Do you disagree with this?

When the Imam Mahdi and Messih come according to YOUR standards, would you consider one who rejects them a kafir or a Muslim?  Hence, the same principle is applied to Hazrat Ahmad (as) as he is a true prophet of God.

So in principle, one who rejects a true Prophet of Allah is a kafir.  This is what Islam teaches.  I'm sure you agree with this notion.  Do you disagree that Hazrat Ahmad (as) was a Prophet?  Of course!  But I'm simply pointing out the principle laid out by Islam.  

But that is not all brother.  There is much more.  Would you not agree that anyone who is outside the fold of Islam is a kafir?  If someone has never heard of Islam and are another religion, would that exempt them from being a kafir?  NO!  It would exempt them from being punished by Allah, but it will NOT exempt them from being a kafir.  Would you call a Christian a Muslim?  No, you would call him a Christian.  Would you call someone from Scandanavia that has never heard of Islam a Muslim?  Of course not.

Again, everything must be taken into context - picking and choosing only equates us with those haters of Islam who like to pick and choose one verse from the Qur'an, and then run pointing a finger saying "there's your violent religion!"  What I explained is a shadow explanation of the full pages out of which you picked one line.  Please read the full verse.  If you had indeed read the book like you claimed, you would have discovered that.

Oh and please, do find me that first quote that you cited because I sure can't seem to find it.  If you have read it, you should have no problem finding it if you are truthful.  Allah bless you brother.

As far as I'm concerened, THAT is the definition of a Muslim my brother.  It seems we agree.  But rest assured, there is Nothing blind about our following, alhumdolillah.

@Dhul Qurnayn - Take it how you want brother.  But I provided you a NON Ahmadi source as you requested and gave you the meaning from the Arabic itself.  You provided me a Yusef Ali translation (who by the way was an Ishmaeli Muslim, not Sunni) which is a weak translation all around.

Yeah, I'll take the more logical approach myself.  And keep in mind, I can still offer countless verses and authentic hadeeth that unquestionably show that Isa (as) has indeed died.  I stuck to this verse alone because that was all you asked for.  Allah bless you brother.

Just keep in mind that with your "final word" statement, you indeed yourself changed the Kalima Shahada.  The Prophet (sa) never taught "last and final" as part of La illah ha illallah muhammadur rasoolullah.  Please make a note of it.  Allah bless you many fold, always.  peace brother.

Again, since when can a person or a committee of persons sit on the throne of Allah? Quran states there is no compulsion in religion.

The prophet states: if you declare some one a kafir and you are wrong, Allah will consider you the kafir.

What about this hadith Qudsi?

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said:

Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him.

It was related by al-Bukhari.

Ahmadiyya are VERY devoted to Allah. Most of them  follow the 5 pillars to the tee. So do you risk the wrath of Allah?

I don't. So i consider them Muslims indeed.
