In this topic, don't worry about the US! Water here is very accessible. It's the 3rd World countries that need attention with not just water but many things! The water in Africa, for example, is filled with disease! What's a thirsty mother and her child to do???! People in the US don't appreciate what they have!

I'm not 100% confident that it is safe everywhere in the United States, but as has been mentioned, it's THE major problem across Africa and Central America among others.
