I babysit for an autistic child, high functioning. I also work with austic students of all forms, mostly low functioning though

I know several children that are autistic.  I even know twins that are both autustic.

I know a lot. I work at a state facility that houses special needs adults. Just came back from working with one actually.

I don't know a single "autistic person".  However, I have taught several students with autism.  Please, we are people first and any disability is just a small part of the whole.  We all have disabilities, some are just more obvious then others.

I do, it is quite common but not something to be feared. They are the kindest, cleverest and most thoughtful person i know.
