It's around that #...last time I checked it was 6.3 billion...but it's definitely more now.

Edit: as of around July 2008...there are around 6.7 billion people.

There is less than 7 billion people living on the Earth now.

Today, there are 6,677,563,921, but this was estimated on July 2008. So, this number is a little bit more since people die everyday or are born everyday. This number is always changing.
