How many people play musical instruments in the world?

A darn lot, I'd say.



I myself played the alto saxophone for a while. I still have it, but I haven't picked it up in some time. Oh, and I once played a pop can for a couple hours. I recorded it too, but I don't know what I did with the tape.

And I am also embarrassed to admit that I played the bass clarinet for a month, the soprano sax for two months, the tenor sax for six months, and the flute for about two days. I half-played the piano for a few weeks.

I'd pick up the sax again but then I listen to Gayle go nuts on it and I think, "What's the point?"
