I didnt like the fact that hawks had 5 people on fev so he doesnt get 100 lol.

If i was fev i would be like gimme my 8th and i will play shhit for rest of the night lol

the thing that is quite amzing is the fact that he has had over 80 behinds as well for the year, if this guy could kick straight he could kick 150 one year....

Yep, I had seen it on the tele.It was a special moment, its a pity Fev only kicked 7 goals and be left on 99. Now that would be a great moment in AFL history. 2 players kicking 100 goals in the same match.

yeah it was outstanding, i was so happy when i saw EVERYONE run out onto the field and the atmosphere as buddy went to go kick that goal to seal 100 was amazing, everyone was climbing the fence ready to jump over lol - such an amazing scene and im so happy everyone ran in, im so happy they opened the gates for people it was outstanding how they kept the tradition! well done! outstanding!

but its HORRIBLE how fevola didnt get the 100 - i got so excited when i saw that last moment when he got the free kick against him because i thought he was payed the free kick FOR him - what a stupid decision by the umpire! and it was outstanding how all the carlton players tried to get the ball to him no matter how good in a position infront of goal they were!! but a.clarkson SHOULD NOT have flooded the backline - espcially how he put jarryd roughead down there, should have let fev get the 100!!!!!!

We were out doing a few things and were not home whent he game started so we raced home running red lights and driving well over the speed limit just so we wouldnt miss it.

I have seen it with Lockett, Dunstall, Ablett and Lloyd and I think its bloody marvellous for the game. What a shame that Fev didnt make it. The Hawks were a bit mean towards him although in hindsight, you would have to say that Buddy worked harder for his hundred whereas Fevs teammates handed his last few to him.

Still, its wonderful for our game, and I think that the way the security handled the crowd was spot on. For once i can congratulate the AFL on a job well done!

Yeah - it was quite the moment!  If only the boy could kick straight we'd possibly be looking at him getting a double century in a season - I wouldn't put it past him given his youth.

At the start of the game, I said to my mate that the ideal result would be that Buddy would get his 100, but Fev would only get as far as 99 - so near, and yet so far!  How prophetic was that!  Even better that he hit the post and shanked one in the first quarter.  I was peeing myself when that's what turned out.  Especially when he was actually running around in the final quarter like a headless chook trying to get the ball.  First time he's ever really done that.

The trouble with Fev is that he is too far up himself.  If he'd have got the ton he would have been even more unbearable.  It serves him right for behaving like a prima donna - he's always put himself above the team, no matter what he says to the contrary.  So great result all round.
