How many people still develop with Visual Basic 6.0?

I've been using .NET since 2001.

That's why I'm called "C# Guy." =)

I was just curious because a lot of students and noobs ask questions about VB 6.0.

  1. Some legacy products still use VB 6.0.  It is too much effort to upgrade and we would see 0 return on investment for the products in VB 6.  All new GUI development for Windows using .NET.


  2. Unless all app on 6.0 is out there people will be doing vb6.0.

    Only solution is all app should be upgraded to .net

  3. Who cares?

    If I was you, I would not use 6.0 since .NET is much easier and more robust!
