Question:

How many people still like George Bush?

During Katrina Bush followed Clinton’s policy on this matter and was ruined because of it.

The Iraq war was not a loss and had many more reasons than just a pile of weapons. Saddam Hussein was a corrupt dictator that was killing off innocent civilians. There also was an Al-Qaeda in Iraq. If you don’t believe me then look up Shosei Koda.

Bush had a plan in 2001 that would give us renewable resources in 7 years(2008). However the democrats declined this because we would have to explore our own country for oil.

The economy has been ruined by the inaction of the senate and house and has gotten worse ever since the democrats took over congress(2006-).

I’m a democrat but I respect this man for what he has done.

So my question is who still likes him?

  1. What do you mean STILL. That would have required liking him in the first place.

  2. I think Bush is great!

  3. I don't and apparently I'm not alone. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/05/01/b...

  4. Not me, I'm a conservative.  Both Bushes and John McCain are Rockefeller neo-Conservatives.  That means that they are not conservatives at all.

And - - - - if you love freedom and prosperity, Obama isn't an option either.  I've just decided that I may vote for the GOP ticket, on the off chance that Palin is the real deal.  I'm actually hoping the Republicans will look into their hearts at the Convention and DUMP MCCAIN.

  5. You make good points about some of the things Bush has done in a positive way, apparently many people still like Bush policies because the polls are so close in the current election. It is also possible that people just distrust politicians in general though. Bush is a likable man with strong convictions and vision, I think his presidency just went badly over the Iraq issue and never really recovered.

  6. you are definitely not a democrat if you support Iraq becuase we took out Saddam.  That's a neo-conservative belief, stabilize regions of the world that seem uncontrollable at our expense.  We had no right to invade a country becuase they aren't like the US and look what happened?  Iraq is in a 60+billion surplus, while we are almost to a 1 trillion dollar deficit to the war.

  7. A good, honest question and response....I appreciate your honesty and incite.

I like Bush....I don't think he has been great....but certainly good. And history will remember him as good too.

  8. 15 million americans

  9. Notre Dame is religious College.  And because Bush says that he's born again, you're still willing to forgive and forget for his misdeeds.  However, some can't be so forgiving.  When Pope John Paul II was alive, he thought Bush was the Antichrist.

According to freelance journalist Wayne Madsden, "George W Bush's blood lust, his repeated commitment to Christian beliefs and his constant references to 'evil doers,' in the eyes of many devout Catholic leaders, bear all the hallmarks of the one warned about in the Book of Revelations--the anti-Christ."

I'm not surprised that you don't believe this.  The Bible says that the Antichrist will fool a great number of people.  And they will only learn the truth when it is too late.

Regarding Bush having a plan in 2001 that would give us renewable resources by 2008, the Republicans had control of Congress from 2001 to 2007.  Why didn't they use these 6 years when they had complete control to do something?  They never had any intention of doing anything.  Open your eyes and realize that this guy is lying to you.  Don't believe everything people tell you.

In ending, it is my belief that when (or if) the President leaves office, he should be charged with War Crimes, Tried, and Executed.  But if he really is the Antichrist, he won't be leaving office.  Who knows, World War III may happen before the next election.

Also, the Democrats haven't been able to do anything in Congress because the Republicans have filibustered over 70 bills this year alone.  And the Democrats don't have the 60 votes needed to override a filibuster.

  10. Here is an interesting poll conducted a few weeks ago.

Given a choice between McCain, Obama, or Bush, who would you vote for for President? (assuming he could run again)

Three guesses who won and the first 2 don't count!

  11. You've managed to get rather a lot of facts wrong in your question.

The President has the right to intervene and over rule. In the case of Katrina - he didn't.

The Iraq War has failed on every front. No weapons of mass destruction have been found. The whole escapade has cost America of huge fortune - which you have borrowed - plunging the country into economic crisis.

It's true Saddam did kill innocent civilians  -  and so has bombing their towns, villages and schools.

A major error in your question is the statement that Al Qaeda were in Iraq. Even Bush and military intelligence agree that. Where did you pick up this mistaken information?

Bush's plan has always been based on oil.

If you think Bush can blame Congress - you're very much mistaken. Bush can veto. And he does. Both houses voted to ban waterboarding torture. Bush over ruled the voting of the 2 houses - who are DIRECTLY ELECTED..

  12. I do.
