After the first Hurricane they became cannibalistic, thieving looters who only cared about themselves and expected the world to repay them not only for the Hurricane damage but reparations going back to slavery days. Who else think this new Hurricane Gustav is Gods gift to them for being so selfish, self-centered, and uncaring towards their fellow neighbors and citizens and for finding ways to run and take advantage of a system that is in place to help those in need throughout the country, not just in Louisiana? After watching the looting of big-screen televisions and stereos and then watching women holding babies without milk or baby food i just wondered what their priorities were and will be this time around? By the way, people in Louisiana, don't forget to take your stolen televisions with you on your way to dry land; they and your homes might not be there when you get back. And who are you going to blame once "The MAN" is african american come this November election?

  1. Native peoples believed this kind of thing as well - nature is alive and directed by Gods. Good to see you haven't bothered to educate yourself within the last few hundred years or so. Religion is the best tool to control people.

  2. I'll tell you why the US is being hammered with these type of disasters, it is because of there lack of support for Israel. She has been a supporter of Israel in the past but now she is supportive of the Palestinians with their demands to take over Jerusalem. God tells us in His word "those who support Israel will be blessed and those who deny her or curse her will be cursed".

  3. No hurricane or natural disaster is a result of anything done by any "god" or "deity". It's a natural part of the planet's water cycle. Any irregularity in the strength, and frequency of hurricanes is a result of people's affect on nature. When the rich and powerful stop supporting institutions, ideals, and economic practices that destroy the environment, (and we stop allowing this to go on) then you'll see a change for the better in environmental patterns. Until then, the middle and lower class people are going to continue to suffer from the choices of the rich.

And what you said about the "looting" was also very biased. The media gave biased and racist accounts of what was going on. When the Black people were breaking into stores and getting food, or whatever else they needed, the media said they were "looting". But when the media showed whites doing the same thing, they said the people were "scavenging" or "searching". And at what stage of the city's destruction, or reconstruction, did you see people taking TV's instead of looking for food, unless you were exaggerating to make a point? Houses and stores were COVERED with water for days. None of that stuff would've worked. No one in their right mind, even in that situation, would even do that.

And for the record, I wasn't calling you racist, I was making a point (assuming that your point of view is coming from what you've seen in the news) that the media's coverage of NO has been and is extremely racist and biased.

Also, I knew I would come upon a question like this sooner or later, lol... The President, is not THE man. "The Man" is basically anybody with control of society's institutions - economy (major factor), military, media, justice system, education, etc. It's a network of people, not just one, so to speak.

People seem to forget that there is a "system" of checks and balances, the president is not some all powerful person. Behind closed doors a president may have connections, but initially, the only job that the president has in a nutshell is to A) Approve or reject (veto) bills/laws, B) Appoint people to offices, C) Having (some) control over the military, and D) International PR work. That means that as long as the same institutions are in place, it doesn't matter who's president. The president may help in making steps towards changing the country's institutions, but the president can't do it alone.

  4. Gustav is coming because Rice is currently pressuring Israel to divide Jerusalem.  She arrived in Israel August 24.  Gustav began brewing August 25.  This warning from G-d not to divide the Land has the potential to be much more devastating than the previous one.

On August 23, 2005, the last of the Jews in Gaza were forcefully removed from their land.  On August 23, 2005, Israel completed the evacuation of the Gaza Strip and gave it to the Palestinians. The Gaza Strip evacuation came directly from President Bush's "Roadmap to Peace."

  5. it is a dysfunctional society, i dont know if that is why the hurricane was sent, but i know that is why they are so unprepared.

  6. what the f? that is the most ignorant thing i have ever heard....im from nola, and im nothing like that....the reason we have a lot of storms is due to the fact of where we are located... the gulf is like a food source for a tropical storm or hurricane because of the warm water...and why are you acting like only louisiana is the only state that gets affected....texas, mississippi, among other gulf states get hit pretty hard to...some of the worst hit palces wern't even in nola....wow i can't beleive ppl

AND you act like lootinf doesn't exist anywhere else...in Florida, where i live now looting was a HUGE problem after Bonnie...so wtf? And most likely the ppl of nola who didnt leave weren't "unprepared"....they were poor and coulnt afford to leave...my goodness, well i guess you are entitled to your own opinion...as i am mines...

  7. Well they didn't turn cannibalistic from what I heard.

It really depends on what God you are asking about. I do not think that the Christian god would outright murder a town(maybe in the Old Testament). Right now there are a lot of people there trying to rebuild and most of the looters are in neighboring states now.

Now if your talking about another god then I could say yes, because many other gods actively punish based on their doctrines. It is punishment for the lack of respect of the fellow brothers and sisters of their social circles. Though almost any large city would deserve such a rampant natural disaster if Gods punished those based on their inhumane interactions in society.

But remember not all the people in any city act in that way. I can't even say most so it seems it would be murderous.

  8. There are several things wrong and ignorant of your post, first off, although a lot of people looted, so did Police officers, Police officers also deserted their duty post, and along with the ugly parts of N.O. and it's people, many people who weren't criminals or looters lost their homes.

Several lifetime friends of 20-35 years had their homes destroyed, and their lives turned upside down... Those same people are in the process as I am typing this, of evacuating yet once again... I live in Tampa Bay and although it's supposed to keep trekking toward N.O. , we are not totally out of danger as a fickle storm can change course without warning...so I keep my eye on my own marine radar...

Also I might add that for your GOD to send this to anyone, wouldn't make your GOD a very loving entity would it?...

Of course that would only apply if your imaginary man in the sky were in fact real.

The single common denominator of the worlds problems today are brought on by ORGANIZED RELIGION....

If this offends you, it is because you know I'm right, and you feel ashamed.
