How many people try to get pregnant after suffering a miscarriage?

I've seen people asking if they could be pregnant after just having a miscarriage. After having gone through one when I got pregnant again I didn't tell anyone and was scared until 20 weeks that the baby wouldn't make it again. I had that baby and now just lost one that was 11 weeks along. Right now I'm thinking I don't want anymore kids because of all the risks. First you have miscarriage, than still birth or premature delivery, then sids, and then whatever its called when they just stop breathing in their sleep between one and two. I'm just wondering how anyone can suffer one of these and then go on to have more kids and not worry themselves to death the whole time. And to have it happen twice is just.. How?

  1. I think the answer to your question is Hope.  We hope for a beautiful, healthy child and will keep trying until we get one.  My 10 week old daughter died of SBS (Shaken Baby Syndrome) thanks to my ex-husband, and then I miscarried after that, and I almost gave up.  But then I thought of life without another child and realized that all of the worry and upset would be worth it if I had another one.

  2. I had a miscarriage back in november it was really hard for me. i wanted to start try again right away but i got a little bit depressed istop going to school and just tryed to get over it. i had to move back to my home town to be near my family. it took me about 9 months now i'm back in school and my husband has told me he's glad to see that i'm back to myself. now we're trying again and this time i'm trying to do everything by the book hopefully we can concieve another healthy baby. you just have to know when your ready and hopefully it will happen for you. good luck hope this helps
