if not a soul goes to bed hungry, if not a soul is a prisoner of abuse, if not a soul is killed in war or greed, then we have evolved to a higher state of being and now free to explore the universe and discover new technologies.

  1. I'll answer the 'time until we get it right' question? It will take forever a.k.a NEVER.

And for the 'how many ppl hv to die' part? U count urself.

  2. I'm very pessimistic about this.  We are continually inventing more efficient ways to kill each other while paying no attention to the need to arrive at peaceful co-existence.  There's plenty of space on the planet, and plenty of food and water yet large numbers are starving, genocide is common and even the most powerful and sophisticated nation - the US in case you didn't recognise this description - is embroiled in two wars which seem unlikely to end anytime soon.  The odds are that the human race will manage to destroy itself rather than reach the nirvana you imagine.

  3. We are getting it right.  We are exploring the universe and inventing new technologies.

Social evolution is driven by our ability to satisfy basic human needs:  Food, medicine, clothing, shelter.  Given the fundamental capabilities, we will improve the human condition.

    We will still die, though.

  4. If you're assuming reality is "wrong" and that what you want is "right", then the number of people that would have to die is all but one.

  5. . . . based on the progress we've made thus far, a lot, a lot more! The better question is will we ever get it right.

It's not we don't know what is right but the fact we wouln't & don't want to get it right. The name of the game is 'control' and anything else is simply collateral damage. Yet every religion tries to portray this message rather is a central theme.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!

  6. You suggest that as if it were a good thing.

Understand this:  Creatures in nature that are poorly adapted to fighting will be brushed aside by those who are well adapted to it.  If we do not commit genocide on bacteria, parasites, or pests, they will be more than happy to do it to us.  Food and space are just too valuable.

Hoping for peace is doing little more than wishing for your own destruction.  That is the only peace.  And if you wish it, it is readily at hand.

  7. As we evolve to the goal of our Creator, Life and Light, we gain the ability to ascend to the next world without experiencing physical death.

P.623 - §1 Natural, physical death is not a mortal inevitability. The majority of advanced evolutionary beings, citizens on worlds existing in the final era of light and life, do not die; they are translated directly from the life in the flesh to the morontia (next world) existence. http://www.urantia.org/papers/paper55.ht...

We don't know how advanced we are compared to other developing planets in our Universe. P.624 - §4 Could you but visit a planet in an advanced stage of development, you would quickly grasp the reasons for providing for the differential reception of ascending mortals on the mansion and higher morontia worlds. You would readily understand that beings passing on from such highly evolved spheres are prepared to resume their Paradise ascent far in advance of the average mortal arriving from a disordered and backward world like Urantia.

Note:Morontia is a term designating a vast level intervening between the material and the spiritual.

Urantia an ancient name for Earth..

  8. most of the leaders in this world are stupid and think they know it all when really they dont

    so i would say NEVER

  9. True, true. But there will always be a Mugabe, or an Ahmadinijad, or a Stalin, Hitler, or Chavez to ruin your fantasy.

  10. It's a moot question.  Every single person who ever is born will die, whether we "get it right" or not.

  11. Get what right? There is a REASON we have different languages, cultures, religions, skin colors, and so on.  There is NO WAY we as a "species" will ever all think or act the same at the same time for the same reason.

  12. Nothing is wrong with the majority of humans. There is just a small 2% that are causing havoc for everyone else. Those are the Zionist and the Illuminati who are the richest people in the world and are criminally insane. They intend to rule that world.

  13. You are obviously either dreaming or in a drunken stuper.  All will have to die before we as a "species" get it right.  There is no right.  Only the road to attempt.

  14. Far too many of the new technologies provide more interesting ways to mete out death and destruction. Most fundamental religions oppose "one world government" and nationalistic or ethnic pride has caused mayhem for centuries. Perhaps at some higher point in man's evolution some politician will call for war and the people will say no.
