Son's Graduation cake and it will be a two-tier square 12" inch, 8"inch seperated. With a Graduation hat on top. The colors will be Maroon and white. The price is 65.00 and I need it to serve 50 people. Is this cake large enough and is this a good price?

  1. $1.35 per serving is a good price for a cake that is anything beyond your basic sheet cake. You should have plenty of cake if this were a wedding cake they'd be charging you $4.00 per piece of cake.

  2. I don't think that will serve 50 people. A serving of cake at a wedding is 2 inches x 2 inches.

  3. So you are saying 12in first layer and a smaller 8in on top and you want to serve 50 people?Sounds lovely that would be 3inch cuts so that would 60 cuts from both layers am sure it would plenty. I think the price is a little high but I don't know where you are, In Indiana there about $35 a grad cake but yours will be fancy er with 2 tiers sounds great .
