  1. I don't know which country you are talking about. But history is the witness that only revolutions like French revolution or recently Russian revolution can overturn the Governments .

  2. Maybe you should stop and consider why most people do not have trouble with the police and the only time they wind up in court is for jury duty.

The problem just may be you.  And the rest of us may have voted for those laws - because of people like you.

  3. At the next election we'll have a chance to get rid  of them.

  4. I agree - I was brought up in a rough part of London where the police were particularly corrupt and invasive (and I am white!) but their current behaviour as witnessed by me in ignoring those they don't want to help, picking on those they don't like and making poor decisions and then covering up the evidence is outrageous.

I blame the internal trend to stop police officers from making friends outside the force and in using words like "civilian" when describing non-police citizens - in fact they are as "civilian" as we are and should be proud of that.

We need to stop the constant erosion of liberty and personal choice - we need a new political movement.

  5. What country you from kid?   I know you're not American.  Even dumb American kids can't be this stupid to think we are oppressed.

  6. Loads.  We have the ability to do that everytime there is an election.

Live in Burma if you want to know what life is really like when being oppressed.

  7. You sound like a frustrated Democrat and to them I would say--have patience, we have only another year and some of the Bush Administration and I strongly believe that the Democratic party has a very good chance of winning the next Federal election.  Remember, nearly 50 percent of the U.S. population did not vote for Pres. Bush.  There are organizations through which you can voice your frustration (the ACLU, People for the American Way are two very legitimate ones that everyone knows and respects)--you can even volunteer for their local offices!  Otherwise, defenestration is not a good idea.  The Bush Administration with it's Patriot Act and encouraging of state governments to adopt similar types of legislation is very paranoid because of the 9/11 incident and subsequent war with Iraq and it's seeming to drag on with probable insurgents lurking everywhere in the U.S.  That is the fact based psychology of the oval office and with which each of us must deal or live like a recluse during the remainder of this high scrutiny/Joe McCarthy-like era that has been created, even down to our own cities and towns.

  8. We The People will "overthrown" them in November 2008. Be sure to be there and cast your vote if you are eligible to vote.

  9. In order for a successful overturn to take place, one or more of three things needs to happen.

    #1 Lack of shelter

    #2 Lack of food

    #3 Lack of safety

The USA nor Great Britain are even close to that.

The only way for an overturn is do it as part of a political process.

    Example:

The reason the revolutionary war in America happened is because of #3, lack of safety.  The Brits had a heavy hand in America and eventually the people got fed up. That was compounded by American guerrilla tactics and terrorism they inflicted on the Brits that caused them to increase the heavy handed policies that brought more Americans against British rule.

    Peace

    Jim

  10. What the heck is a "policious goverment"?

And you don't want to live in a country "being pushed around and ran by police and judges", in other words, no laws?

    Good luck wid dat!

  11. Thats why we have the right to VOTE, so we can elect people that reflect our values.

There is just too much apathy to have a revolt.  I agree things have to change but until you get a unified majority that are willing to institute positive change we are stuck with politicians who are all LIARS and THIEVES
