How many people would love to see Kimbo Slice get destroyed by Matt Hughs or Andrson Silva?

It is not about who is best, it is all about entertainment. MMA is a messy brawl, and Kimbo comes to brawl. He is a street fighter turned mixed martial artist. If people find it entertaining (as they obviously do) then he will make his cash, and earn it.

The worst thing that will happen to him is he will lose, which everyone eventually does. Then he will quit, or get better until he loses again.

His striking game is pretty fair (although any decent pro boxer would destroy him in a boxing match), and his ground game needs work. He is a hyped up journeyman who has sales appeal.

Look, we are writing about him. Wow.

After seeing his last performance I came to the conclusion that a powerful kicker could knock him out with one blow.

But I gotta admit I luv the hype around Kimbo.

I doubt Hughes can beat Slice. I'd say Hughes will pretty much have his hands full with Thiago Alves. Make that 6 wins in a row for the pit bull.     Just a guess.

Its posts like this that contribute to the reason people think so highly of Kimbo.

He is a rookie, he is still learning, he shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence as these other guys.

Let him learn and grow as a fighter.

Uhm, Hughes and Silva are 60+ pounds lighter than Kimbo.  It wouldn't be a contest.

Despite the fact that Kimbo is completely overrated, there is no way Hughes could beat him. He is amazingly strong for the welterweight division, but GSP handled him in their last fight, and kimbo is up around 230 pounds. This is the exact reason that pound for pound rankings were developed. A much lighter fighter, no matter their skill, cannot be expected to hold their own against someone 3 weight classes above them. Plus, Hughes cannot strike to save his life. The spider, however, is the same height as Kimbo (or very close) and could destroy him with his striking game, stuff any takedowns Kimbo could offer, and tie him up on the ground; not only does Kimbo have no BJJ skills whatsoever, Anderson is a black belt under Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira; perhaps one of the most successful BJJ guys in MMA, period. And by the way, its "Hughes", not "Hughs" and "Anderson", not "Andrson". Maybe the sherdog forums would be a better place for you, my friend.

The spider would mess him up and he is not even in that weight class.  It would be fun to watch though.  Didn't Kimbo look stoned before the fight?  And what was up in that championship fight that got called in the third round.  That guy's eyes were strange looking. Say steroids?

He would destroy Hughs or Silva, they wouldn't be able to take him down, one of his punches would knock them senseless. Silva is the most overrated MMA fighter out there. I wish he could fight Cung Le. Le would expose him for the chump he is.
