How many persons can a harrier jet carry?

AV8 can only carry one pilot. Except for the trainer, which is two seat. And VTOL jets aren't efficient for passenger travel. The only VTOL that can carry a lot of men is the V22 Osprey.

It's a single-seat attack aircraft.  There is a two-seat trainer version.  Currently operated by the USMC, RN and the Spanish Navy.  Going to be phased out in favor of the F35.

Some have a two place cockpit, and there are also "pods" than can carry a person under the wing in an emergency.
