Just curious...At what point would you consider a person interested in you (that you clearly aren't) a pest? Would there be grounds for a restraining order?

  1. ITS NOT NECESSARILY THE NUMBERS BUT THE PERSISTENCE AND INCONVENIENCE OF THOSE CALLS. YOU CAN SWEAR OUT A WARRANT FOR THESE CHARGES BUT DOCUMENT WHEN THEY ALL OCCUR. YOU WILL NEED THAT EVIDENCE IN COURT.

  2. Generally, more than one a day, calls at unacceptable hours, repeated calls after notification that no more calls are welcome.  You would probably have to contact the telephone service provider to have the calls recorded, traced, or blocked before you could pursue a PPO or restraining order.

  3. After the phrase, please don't call me again, one.  Until that phrase is used, hundreds.

  4. It can be one or many.  It relates to the sspeech and vocal tone used during the calls.  If you are not interested make it clear and tell them do NOT call me back.  If hey do, your phone company has methods to trace calls for possible future chgarges.

  5. clearly numerous call per day would be considered harassment..document them..make police report and go for a restraining order

  6. I agree with laughter... The one after you tell the person to stop calling.

  7. It depends where you live.  In Florida, two incidents is considered harassment.  After being harassed twice (four incidents total), you can seek an injunction against the person.
