How many photos can a camera hold on 32MB?

Question

For reference its a Hitachi HDC-1061E Digital Camera.

And has 10 megapixels

Maybe ten.

Internal memory is to help sell cameras in the shop.  Customers can use it to "test" the camera.  In reality no one uses it unless they happen to fill their 2GB memory card and don't have a second in their pocket.

32MB is not going to hold very many photo's.The size of your photos file will determine how many shots you can get on the card.If the file is around 3MB then you will only be able to store ten pictures on this card.

You can adjust the size of the files that your camera takes to get more on the card but I suggest that you purchase new memory cards.At least 2 gig but 4 gig would be even better.

I have a Canon 40D and I shoot at large fine jpeg.The camera is 10 MP and on a 4 gig card I can get over 900 images on the card

Not a lot!!! My cameras a 7mp camera and I have a 1gb card whichc can hold about 600-800 pictures depending on resolutions etc!

Basically the 32mb memory is just so you can take a few (very few) pictures when you take it out of the box. get at least a 1gb memory card, the prices are dropping like a stone and it will only cost about 7 pounds.

dont buy a memory card from argos. get one from hear. you could probably buy 6 or 7 for the price of 1 at argos. lol

My camera is only 7MP and if i took a picture on full settings with the uncompressed file format, i would probably get 2 pictures on there. or 10 seconds of video.

at full image quality i say around 8-11, i would defintelly recommend getting a new card. You'll need a 2,4, or 8 gb memory card, they are going cheap on amazon if that helps.

About eight at full resolution.

You will need a much bigger card. Say, 2Gb or even 4Gb.
