How many pics of fine quality can a 256mb card hold on a sony cybershot?

Well, I don't know how many megapixels that camera has, but if it's even a slightly modern camera, that's not enough.

Buy at least a 2gb card and you won't have to worry so much about deleting pictures and missing a shot because you didn't have any room left. I never carry less than 8gb.

Also, make sure that the card you get has a fast transfer rate. The Sandisk Extreme III are the best ones at the moment.
