That depends entirely on the size of the memory card you use and the size of the pictures you take.  If you take them at maximum size, they'll be around 3MB per picture.  A 2 GB card will hold about 650 pictures.  If you want to hold more pictures, try changing your default picture size setting.  Unless you plan to make huge enlargements, you don't need to take such high-resolution pictures.  You could take the file size down to 1.5 MB and hold over 1200 pics on a 2GB card.
