How many pictures does a 32 MB memory hold?

it has a 4.1 megapixel resolution.

and it also says that it comes with an SD/MMC expansion memory slot.

what does all this mean??

  1. Saying that it comes with an SD/MMC expansion slot means you can purchase affordable SD memory cards to hold more photos.

    A 4 megapixel camera requires approximately 2MB of memory for an average JPEG photo. (more if you use Raw or TIFF file format).  So I would estimate the camera can hold only 16 images.  But again, typically you would buy a memory card 512 MB or maybe even 1 GB which would hold far more.


  2. Buy a 1GB card for $12. It will hold over 400 pics.
