  1. Not alot. Maybe 10 pictures. Get at least a one gig card.

  2. The 32MB card that most likely comes free with your camera, is completely useless, because it's only a tiny capacity which will only allow you to shoot around 10 high quality images.

So, you will need to buy a memory card. 1GB minimum... But, 2GB would be a better buy.

  3. Depends on the quality level you've set for the images. But most likely not a lot. Get a 512MB card at least - they're pretty cheap nowadays.

  4. The number of images is determined by the type of compression applied to the image files, as well as the resolution of your camera.

To find out the size of the file in Megabytes (MB), you multiply the number of pixels by 3 because each pixel is actually made up of 3 bytes - 1 byte for each color: Red, Green and Blue. Therefore, your 7.2 megapixel camera will produce image files as large as 21.6 mb each (!), if taken as uncompressed TIFF format.

Fortunately, the default picture format for digital cameras uses JPEG compression which will typically produce image file sizes about 2.1 mb each with your 7.2 mp camera.

    Short answer: 'bout 15.
