  1. 18 on the ground for each team, plus 4 on the bench, also each team has a list of 42 to choose from.

  2. sorry Bronwyn you forgot the boundary umpires hahaha :P hows the ball meant to come back in when it goes out???

take it from an expert 18 each team on field which includes 6 forwards, 6 midfielders (which includes the ruckmen) and 6 backmen. a Max of 4 interchange players on the bench in which can com on and off as often as they want to. (no limit like in soccer)

3 field umpires obviously one for each section of the ground with the middle umpire being the centre ump (who is in charge) 2 goal umpires ( one at each end) AND........ 2 boundary umpires on opposite sides of the ground bringing the ball back into play WHEN... then ball doesn't go out on the full ( bounces out)

i could go further with the coaching staff but that's another question

hope that helped :P **not 41 theres 43** on the fielid (not including runners waterboys ect)

  3. theres 22 picked each match per team...18 on the field and 4 on the interchange bench per team

theres 3 umpires and 2 goal umpires

all up at any one time there is 41 people on the field at any one time plus runners

  4. Also when interchanging players on the bench, the game doesn't stop.

A 'runner' who is instructed by the coach goes on to the field and tells a player to take a break. That player must exit over the boundary line in a specified area before the replacement can take the field.
