you have 15 player on a team. the possitions is : fullback,wing,centre,centre,wing,flyhalf... secondrow(2) loosehead prop, tighthead prop and the hooker. usually you have about 5 reserves. so unless someone gets a yellow or red card, there is 30 players on the field at any given time   :)
