There are fifteen players on a Rugby Union team. Divided up like so:

Eight forwards divided into three main groups:

Front Row (containing the loosehead prop, hooker, and tighthead prop).

Second Row (containing the two locks)

Back Row (containing the blindside flanker, openside flanker and number 8)

Then seven backs divided like so:

Half Backs (scrum half and fly half)

Centres (inside centre and outside centre)

Back Three (left wing, right wing and full back).
