How many plugs and stuff does the ps3 use on a tv?

will a ps3 connect to any tv? even one that is a couple years old? if you could post a diagram that would be helpful

  1. Yes a PS3 can connect with regular red, yellow, and white cables, just like your dvd player has. The quality will still be great, just not as as good as HDMI.
