How many points do you need to win a game of volleyball

in volleyball u need at least 15 points to win the game but depending on where your're at lke at the olympics or high school team you will probably need to win by 2 points.

Beach volleyball is 2 out of 3.  The first sets are to 21 with the teams switching sides every 7 points scored total.  (Not 7 by one team, 7 points total by both teams.)  The third set if needed is to 15 switching sides at every 5 points.  Every set you have to win by at least 2.

Indoor is 3 out of 5 sets.  The first 4 sets are to 25.  The fifth set if needed is to 15.  The teams will switch sides after every set and after the first team scores 8 points.   Every set must be won by at least 2 points.

It depends. In my games we play 3 games to 25 and you win by 2. But im 13.

It depends,

Beach volleyball, i think to win a set is 15 points, but to win the set, you need to have at least a 2 point separation between the teams... e.g.... 14-15 isn't allowed, you need to have at least  14-16 for the second team to win...

in normal volley ball its 25 points per set, and you still need the 2 point separation. This is usually played with 6 players, where as B.VB is 2

Well there will be 3 games and you will have to have 25 points and the other team has to have 23 points or under to win. In the three games you have to win 2. HOPE DIS HELPS!

It depends on a lot of things.... 1.outdoor beach volleyball is rally scoring(meaning that every time there is a dead ball one team will get a point as opposed to old school scoring where you can only score when you have service possession) to 21 the first two sets and 15 the last set if needed....(you have to win two of three sets) 2.Indoor for junior high is rally and the first two sets go to 25 and the last to 15 if needed. 3.High school is rally for best 3 out of 5 with the first four going to 25 and the last to 15 if needed. 4. College is also rally best 3 out of 5 sets but they go to 30..... in all of these you need to win by at least a margin of two so thats why the score can be deceptive.... you could go up to a million points if nobody got ahead by two thats why you might see weird scores

Olympic Beach Volleyball is 21 points with rally scoring

In both cases you have to win by 2 points.

College, Highschool, etc is different from Olympic Volleyball.
