  1. Each of the World Golf Championship events awards a total of 26,250 FedExCup points. That's five percent more than normal tour events, which award 25,000. (Majors award 27,500 points. Events held concurrently against WGC events and the British Open award 12,500.)

To learn more about it, refer to the Fan Guide available at pgatour.com. The link is below ...

ADDED - 2/25, 3:50pm CT ... To date, all of the answers but mine refer only to the winner's take (4,725 points). What makes you think that Larry W. only wants to know what the winner's take is? That is an unfounded assumption. Vague questions demand broad answers with links to resources the questioner can use if s/he wants to research further.

  2. 4725

  3. first is a little over 4800 points.

at least that is what they said yesterday on the t.v.

  4. Slightly more than a regular tournament.  Tiger got 4875 I think for firsst.  A regular win is 4500.

  5. 4,725

  6. I'm not exactly sure on a full field break down for awarded points, but I know that 1st place in a regular PGA event usually gets the winner 4500 points. The winner of the WGC-Accenture Match Play gets (if I remember correctly) 4700 points, so the WGC events do carry a little more weight.
