How many points is parallel parking on the behind-the-wheel exam for a license?

I'm taking the test soon and I was wondering how many points that was.

  1. Idk how many point it is but I know that you have to pass it in order to pass the test. I failed my first time because I parked too far from the curb. Second time I was fine. Now I parallel park all the time and dont even think twice about it.  


  2. i live in ohio and we dont do parallel parking we do manuverabilty (same thing pretty much) and if u dont pass it u dont get license

  4. It is probably up to the driver's license examiner and each state puts a different emphasis on each phase of the test. Parallel parking was never a pass-fail item for me for the simple reason it is not a commonly used maneuver. A few examiners think that if an applicant can't put their vehicle between the cones, then they won't be able to keep it between the lines.

    Do the best you can with it and focus on the more realistic aspects of the test.
