How many points will Maria Sharapova loose?

She will lose 310 points I believe, which is 450 from last year's semifinal, plus the 140 she will earn by reaching the 4th round this year.  She might still be #1 though, depending on how Ivanovic (defending 700 points from last year's final), Jankovic (defending 450 from last year's semifinal), and Kuznetsova do (defending 250 points from last year's quarterfinal).  Maria had a 194 point lead over Ivanovic and 361 point lead over Jankovic in the rankings before the French Open.  If either of those two or Kuznetsova win the title, they will probably overtake the #1 rank.

She was out too early, although she already had difficulties since the first round. I think if Ivanovic wins final, then very possible she will become #2, unless she has enough points to stay in #1, but maybe not by much.

Well im not sure. I know she made the semis last year so she will definitely lose points for sure.
