Enough points to lose her No.1 spot!!!! Jelena Jankovic will take her place after taking the RG title. (I hope she will overcome all of her injuries!!!) If not Jankovic, I hope Ivanovic will capture it and overtake Sharapova's number one place. Kuzy isn't mentally into taking it. She cannot win the title unless her opponent retires (Szavay, New Haven, 2007), other she loses easily!

150 or 200 points. I hope Ana Ivanovic loses before reaching the finals so that she does nor become the new #1. She doesn't deserve it. If she reaches the final, regardless she win or lose, she defended her points and will be the new #1

Maria had a 194 point lead over Ivanovic and 361 point lead over Jankovic in the rankings before the French Open. If either of those two or Kuznetsova win the title, they will probably overtake the #1 rank.
