  1. It depends on how good your opponents are at math.  ;)

  2. The word itself is actually worth 19 points (r - 1, e - 1, j - 8, o - 2 on a double, i - 1, c - 3, e - 1, d - 2), and you multiply that by 6 to get 114.  Add 50 points for using all your letters and you get 164.  Then you add on any other points you get if you happened to make any other words in the process, which you could easily have done.  I have made the word "quizzing" on just such a space, using a blank for one of the z's and the other z was on a double letter score.  That was a sweet moment.  While such scores are unusual, they are not all that rare.  You may find this link interesting.

  3. The word itself is only worth 18 points - but if you can get it across 2 Triple word scores, it would be worth 162 - plus an extra 50 points for using all 7 of your tiles (to create an 8-letter word)

    So 212 points at maximum.

But in order to do this, you would need to already have the exact 8th letter in the exact right space on the edge of the board.  Seems pretty unlikely, unless you put it there yourself on a previous turn - but how would you know in advance that you were going to draw the correct letters to spell "rejoiced"?
