How many police in the UK?

I heard there was a lot,40,000 in London alome!

Many say over 150,000 and counting!That's not to mention all the hundreds of thousands of neighbourhood watchers,curtain twitches,CPSO'S,and other subtle policemen like taxi drivers,private *****,relatives of coppers etc,welcome to 1984!

i have better things to do than counting police officers

and even if they were a million they are all rubbish coz they dont do much
