The FDA allows an average of 30 or more insect fragments and one or more rodent hairs per 100 grams of peanut butter.

Have you ever read what else the FDA allows in the food you eat?

  2. That's old news to me, not that shocking if you ask me...

  3. I heard that we eat about 5 pounds of insects per year either through food or in our sleep.  That seems like a h**l of a lot though.  5 pounds...

I remember they allow 16 rat hairs in one box of Kraft Mac and Cheese

  4. Yes.  Yawn.

Sigh.  Really, you didn't figure this out on your own?????  Is it really that shocking???????

And here's the kicker!!!  How in god's green earth has man survived these many centuries???  Gasp?  Back when they had no refrigerators I bet they would be happy if their biggest food problem was a bug or two as long as the food wasn't rotten, but guess what?  They would eat it if it was rotten also!  Go figure!

Wow!  Thank God our ancestors were not so pansy a**ed
