  1. It is not just the trees but every green plant.


  2. Pollutants.... none.

    Green plants only extract CO2 from the atmosphere. It's true that we are producing more CO2 but it's not generally regarded as a pollutant.

    SO2, NOx and other hydrocarbons, gases emitted from vehicles etc pollute but are not filtered by plants.
