  1. I don't know.  I do know there was 1000 gallons of mayonaise on board bound for Mexico.  When the ship sank, it so upset the mexicans that they still celebrate Sinko de Mayo to this day....


  2. According to the manifest, the following  were galley stores:

    • 75,000 lb. fresh meat

    • 11,000 lb. fresh fish

    • 4,000 lb. salted and dried fish

    • 7,500 lb. bacon and ham

    • 25,000 lb. poultry

    • 2,500 lb. sausage
