How many pounds would i lose a week eating 1200-1300 calories a day and burning 200-300 calories walking?

im 113 pounds and 5"2 and 16 (im short so i cant handle much weight,so please dont say i dont need to lose weight!)

  1. i think you can lose 5 or 6 pounds in one week like that

  3. Your weight is fine....And you can only lose weight if you burn more calories than you take in.

  4. first you need to find out your resting metobolic rate (there are hundreds of sites on the net) that will tell you how many calories you burn a day if you just sat down all day, then you add the 200-300 a day worked off thro exersice to that and take off what you eat then you are left with an amount you are burning off a day and it takes 3500 to burn off 1 pound. example- say your resting metobolic rate was 1500 then you exersiced off 300 and ate 1200 then its 1500+300=1800  then 1800-1200=600 so 600 over 7 days is 4200 which is over a pound a week. hope this helps

  6. I believe the rule is 3600 calories represent a pound of weight.

  7. You need to eat at least 2000 calories a day to stay healthy, so eating just 1200 could have the opposite effect and make you feel tired, sluggish and down.
