And how many to just shift its path to a less populated area?

A rough estimation will suffice.

  1. Zero.

    There is no evidence to show that prayer works but plenty to show that it doesn't.

  2. I don't know, but I believe every Christian in Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Texas were praying.  God is good to us.  Even when sometimes we don't deserve it.  However, Hurricane Hannah is in the Atlantic ready.

    I would feel a lot safer if the USA would quit trying to force Israel to divide land with Palestine.  I am totally confused as to what Condi Rice and President Bush are thinking.  They are going against the Word of God and God will not appreciate His land being divided.  God calls Israel His land and God says that He will fight for Israel for His name's sake.

    I pity any nation that goes against Israel at this moment in history.  God says that His fury will come up in His face.

    If you've ever been in a Hurricane, I promise you it is a loud voice.  And God is speaking to America.

    I am just wondering, when the Mt. of Olives splits down the middle and there is a river all the way to the Mediterranean Sea and to the Red Sea via the Dead Sea will unbelievers believe the Word of God?

    To answer your question, the fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.  With enough faith you can stand in the front of the oncoming Hurricane and command it to dissipate in the name of Jesus.  Jesus quieted storms and He said we can do all that He did and more.

    Start practicing your faith in God and do not doubt.  But remember one thing - America's wake up calls are coming fast and furious!

  3. If we assume:

    1. There is an all-loving, all-powerful entity receiving the prayers, and;

    2. The people praying are sincere and not just performing some knee-jerk reaction that makes them feel good about themselves;

    It should only take one.

  4. 10 more than the earths population to change its path

    and about 50 more than the earths population to stop it.

  5. Well, if you keep nagging the guy, he might just not do it to...  Oh yeah... the whole non-existence deal tends to get in the way of things too...

  6. If you get the entire population of America to go outside and pray vocally, the movement of air due to speaking MIGHT be enough to change it's path.

  7. more than 250 apparently, but, it did weaken and was nothing compared to katrina/rita.

    GLORY  TO   GOD!

  9. The same number as the number of angels who can dance on the head of a pin.

  10. Whatever is necessary, we can be assured that it will always be at least one more than what was actually done.
