Im taking Pre-ap English and Biology and regular Geometry. I was also considering taking pre-ap spanish. I was wondering if i will be overloaded with too much work especially since i do club soccer and plan on doing school volleyball and school soccer. Are honors or pre-ap classes as hard as they say?

  1. no..u should take spanish..its prtty easy..

  2. I think you can handle it fine, but since it's only your first year... you might wanna start off with only a couple honors classes so you know how it is. It's really all about time management and what your strengths are. Try it out with 3-4 classes with your first year and see how that goes. I know people who struggled with 1 pre A/P class and I know this varsity football captain who's only taken pre ap and ap classes during his high school career [he ends up going to harvard] so I think it all varies by individuals. Personally, i thought honors or preap classes are not that hard, but again it all depends on you and your teachers and your school's curriculum

  3. i think you should choose what you think you can handel think about it and see if you can handel all that

  4. no. its not to hard. all my classes were like this besides my electives and i am on the football team where we had practice after school until around 8 and still got all my homework done.

  5. Yes the classes are harder, but it is worth it. If you feel you can do it do it. Remember your young TRY and have some fun.

  6. I've already graduated from high school, and many of my friends had a schedule like yours.  If you think you can handle it, go for it.  The classes will really help you later, if you stick with them, for college.  Also, depending on the college, and how much your classes are worth at your school, you could skip out on some tedious classes in college.  Trust me, all those APs and extra curriculurs will get you awesome scholarships!  If you feel overloaded, get rid of the thing that you least would like to do-keep in mind your personal interests.  Try to keep the language though-college's look for 3-4 years.

And honors and AP classes can be difficult, especially if you are in the highest level, but for the most part, they are manageable.  I'm not the best AP student and I stuck between a B and an A range in honors classes.  If you know anyone older than you who has taken those classes, talk to them-they'll know the curriculum and teachers better.
