How many preamp outlets do i need for 4channel amp and mono amp?

I have a 4channel amp for my door speakers and a mono amp for my sub, when i get a sterio how many preamp outlets should there be?? i dont wanna do any spliting ect.

  1. it will tell u on the stereo info...usually its 3 ,  u should be fine anyway...make sure u check though.....u only need two pairs of them for what u need


  2. You could get away with two pre outs, one for the front and one for the rear of the 4 channel amp.  Then combine the signal for the mono amp, if the 4 channel has a line out you can use that.

    But it would be better to get a stereo that has 3 pre outs.  One for the front, one for the rear, and one for the sub that preferably has a fader on it.  That way you can adjust the bass from the stereo.
