That would be  impossible task , that is  to  count all pregnant women in the Philippines or anywhere else. Just like mushrooms that sprout up every morning  during rainy season, pregnant women  also mimic the same  behavior- their stomachs can grow big anytime. Some of them  do not even know that they  are pregnant.

...the number of pregnant women in the philippines at any one time is NOT available in any site.  but our birth rate is - 24.48 births/1,000 population (2007 est.).  that ought to give you an idea of how prolific we are.

for purposes of comparison, india's birth rate is 22.69 births/1,000 population (2007 est.) and for the usa, it is 14.16 births/1,000 population (2007 est.)

One of the poorest countries in the world and one of the highest birthrates, and one with a high rate of wife beating.One of the only two countries in the world with no divorce.The other is little Catholic Malta. Thats what happens when the Catholic church runs everything, and women are forced to have kid after kid, while their husbands have another women on the side dropping babies too..
