I don't know for sure, but you could probably find out on boxrec.com it should give you a good enough start. They document every fight that has been reported. Just go to the search tab.

It depends, there are many states where it was illegal back then. So sometimes they would just show up and fight under the radar of officials. But boxing was alot more popular back then in the United States.
