Here is a site that lists all the planetary space probes.  Each entry gives country, name of mission, purpose of mission, date, and result.

I count 89.  This includes the Apollo manned missions to the moon.  So if you are just interested in unmanned planetary probes, it looks like there were 80.  That's for the US.  There have been many more, if you count other countries, especially Russia/Soviet Union.
