How many pubs are there in coventry?

I took a visit to Coventry recently and noticed that the city centre seemed to be lacking in pubs. According to the thomson local there is 102 pubs in Coventry but obviously not all pubs advertise there. So is there many more than 102?I wouldn't have thought there was. This does not count the surrounding villages.

There's bound to be more than that, but it's impossible to give an exat amout as there will be new ones opening and old ones closing etc. Also it depends if you mean old style pubs, including those chain ones such as wetherspoons or if you include wine-bars etc
