  2. Considering that your muscles haven't really come on-line yet at 14, you're doing really good if you can do any pull-ups.  If you can't, don't feel bad - you can later.  But those muscles need time to grow.

  3. im 13 and i can do around 15 on a average day. but i work out at least twice every week.

  5. It's like any exercise it depends on how often you do them. I never did pull ups till about 6 months ago and I'm 27 now and I can only do 11 before I'm dead and need to break. Pull ups require the use of a lot of your bodies muscles some of which people don't normally work out.  I've done  a lot of other work out so I could do more starting out than somebody else could have who never worked out a day in their life. My bench press is 5 reps of 10 at 240 lbs. My max is about 310lbs also my bicep curls are three sets of 10 a t 30 lbs so it varies.

    If a 14 year old ( back in my day)starting out can do 3 or 4 then they're pretty normal for their age since not all kids that age focus on that kinda stuff. Then again the more often they do pull up the more they should be able to do it's natural to be able to do more.

    A buddy mine has been doing pull ups since he was about 14 and can do 90 pull ups (he's about 23).
