  1. The plant may produce several more fruits, but don't let it.  There is only so much energy the plant can collect thru the leaves and store in the fruits.  If you have more than two they will never mature properly and remain small and poor quality.

The real marvel is how that one seed can produce so many new seeds even in just one fruit.  That's how you get more and more fruit, from planting more seed.

  2. 10  But you've got to keep dear old mother happy, good house, good water, good food, well you get the idea....same things you need........the last 3 might not be big........where I've had my best luck is growing in the corn rows.......had enough for two classrooms full of kids in just a little garden. The plants got sun and shade. and nobody walking on her legs and branches:) Good luck

  3. three usally

  4. Depends on several factors. Your soil, space, environment, water and nutrients. A healthy plant could produce 10 or 15 of varying sizes. The more qty the smaller fruit. Plants can ramble 15 to 20'  The corn field does provide them a little shelter. They coexist well. Same for watermelons. Problems with ,mildew, watering inconsistency, and damaged vines will significantly reduce your yield.

Seems like the best plants are the ones which volunteer themselves in your compost pile. lol.
